Capabilities, Critical and Creative Thinking
Critical and creative thinking capability aims to ensure that students develop:
- understanding of thinking processes and an ability to manage and apply these intentionally
- skills and learning dispositions that support logical, strategic, flexible and adventurous thinking
- confidence in evaluating thinking and thinking processes across a range of familiar and unfamiliar contexts.

Capabilities, Ethical Capability
The Ethical Capability curriculum aims to develop knowledge and skills that will enable students to:

- identify, analyse, evaluate and respond to ethical issues, recognising areas of contestability
- reflect on diverse ethical perspectives, including their own
- engage with the challenges of managing ethical decision-making and actions for individuals and groups
- cultivate open-mindedness and reasonableness.

Capabilities, Intercultural Capability
The Intercultural Capability curriculum aims to develop the knowledge and skills that will enable students to:
- demonstrate an awareness of the role culture plays in identity and a sense of belonging and inclusion in society
- critically reflect on how community institutions and intercultural experiences influence attitudes, values and beliefs
- recognise the importance of respect for and appreciation of cultural and worldview diversity for creating and maintaining a cohesive community
- become responsible local, national and global citizens, living and working together in an interconnected world.

Capabilities, Personal and Social Capability
The Personal and Social Capability curriculum aims to develop the knowledge and skills that will enable students to:
- recognise and manage emotional responses
- support themselves and others to face personal and social challenges with resilience
- build awareness of their personal strengths and interests and develop a sense of purpose and wellbeing
- act with sensitivity towards others and recognise the importance of supporting diversity, engaging with different perspectives, and respecting human rights for creating a cohesive community
- use interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships and effective collaborations.
