6MV - Prayer cloth 

Our class has chosen the quote “we must teach more by example than by word”, because as Year 6's we feel it speaks to us as we should teach more by example than by word because actions can speak louder than words!

We model this by teaching younger students and our peers what this school represents. 

The symbol of the giant hands on the prayer cloth represent equality, shown by the different colour of the two hands and it also symbolises how we can pray to Mary Mackillop and she can support and protect us on our life journey.

At the bottom of the cloth we added our school values as we all try to display these in our everyday school life. 

We all signed our names on the cloth to represent our commitment to upholding all of the school values and to carry out what the quote represents.
