Trinity Families is a charity which operates to provide funding for service providers who support families in the Gippsland and outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It makes annual distributions to charities from the monies earned from its trust fund investments. Disbursements are made without reference to faith or denomination and are overseen by independent trustees. To support this important charity in the Diocese of Sale, the MacKillop Kids Group members are initiating a Badge Making Fundraiser.
All children in the school will have an opportunity to design and make their own special badge for Family Week. A small $2 donation for each badge will be collected. All monies raised will go directly to the Bishop’s Trinity Fund. All cash donations will need to be directed to your child’s class teacher.
Catholic Care Speaker Rozanne, will be presenting at the Mother’s Day Assembly tomorrow Friday 7th May 9.00am. Rozanne a representative from Catholic Care and will join us sharing important information around the work of Catholic Care Victoria. Each year schools are asked to provide opportunity to support this vital organisation in a financial way. Breakfast that morning is provided and a small donation to Catholic Care would be greatly appreciated. Drop a gold coin or two in the provided collection tins when you collect your egg and bacon roll. All proceeds will be directed to Catholic Care Victoria
John 15:9-17
Jesus commands his disciples to love one another.
In next week’s Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus told his disciples that he began the process of loving, and now it would be their turn to follow his example. Since we are also followers of Jesus, we must follow his example too.
