Yes we do things twice!

As we power towards the end of another busy term and semester, Year 4 students have been reflecting on their learning and answering the question,

 “Why do we do this again when we did this in Year 3?”

Students have explored this concept using Venn Diagrams to identify what the learning was in each subject area and how that progression of learning is evident in similar tasks. 

So if you hear your student say, “We did this in Year 3” - remind them how we practice to get better and each time we do something we learn a little bit more or even notice something we missed the first time we tried. 

It’s alright to do things twice - we call that learning!
