In the Discovery Centre students in Year 4, 5 and 6 have created their own digital avatar characters. They have created animated yet very realistic looking images of themselves. This was an engaging get to know you task where students used Google Slides to copy and paste between slides, resize, layer and  order pieces, and save their finished work as an image file. We have used these characters to create learning posters for the Discovery Centre and are also on display in the DC Office. Some students have even used them as their email avatar. They look very effective and have really helped decorate our Discovery Centre. Well done everyone!
