Feast Day Celebrations - Kaboom Sports

We had a fantastic whole school celebration day on our Feast Day on Monday 8 August with Kaboom Sports.  Students were amazing in the way they participated in all the fun activities on offer.  We were very lucky with the weather with the sun shining on us during our Kaboom event.

Family Mass

Thank you to the families who participated in our Family Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish Mass on 6.00 pm last Saturday evening.  It was great seeing you at Mass and being able to celebrate the beginning of our Feast Day celebrations this way.  

ACARA - NAPLAN Trial

Our school was selected by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) to participate in this year’s ACARA Item Trial, to be conducted using the Online National Assessment Platform.  The Item Trial is a component of the National Assessment Program, an agreed national education requirement. The aim of the Item Trial is to evaluate NAPLAN test items that are under consideration for inclusion in future tests.  The trial, in Reading and Numeracy, will be conducted next week on Tuesday 16 April for our Year 3 and Year 5 students in 3RJ and 5SD.
