Celebrations of Learning

Term 2 Inquiry - Design and Technology / Science

We are very much looking forward to celebrating our Term 2 Inquiry Focus - Design & Technology and Science next week with lots of activities on offer to support our student’s learning.  In partnership with Major Road Projects Victoria and Symal (the companies undertaking the roadworks along Narre Warren North Road), we will be able to provide the following learning opportunities for our students:

• Monday 23 May to Wednesday 25 May - Building Blocks construction.  All classes will be timetabled to participate in the Building Blocks activity in the Allen Hall. 
• Thursday 26 May - Careers in Construction Incursion for students in Years 3 - 6 and an off-site visit to the Roadworks Construction office for our Year 5 and Year 6 students.
• Friday 27 May - Dress up day.  Students are to come dressed up in their favourite role - Engineer, Builder, Scientist etc

We look forward to a very special week with lots of activities on offer. 

District Cross Country

On Tuesday 24 May selected students will be participating in the next round of District Cross Country.  We wish all our students participating next week all the very best as they compete at this next level of competition.

Our Lady Help of Christians Feast Day

Tuesday 24 May is the feast day of our Parish and we wish our parish community all the very best as they celebrate this very special day in their yearly calendar.

NAPLAN

Congratulations to our Year 3 and Year 5 students for completing their NAPLAN online tests - Writing, Reading, Language Conventions and Numeracy.  Our students are to be commended on the diligent and respectful way they have engaged in the testing timetable.  A very special thanks to our teachers and to Mrs Privitera and Mrs Huntington for ensuring our NAPLAN testing went smoothly for our students including the make up test window. The make up NAPLAN testing window concludes on Friday 20 May (tomorrow).

2023 Enrolments - Very limited places available

It is wonderful to see a very high demand for enrolments for 2023 Foundation students.  Student enrolments have filled very fast and we have very limited places available.   If you would like a guided tour by our Year 6 students, please call the office (8794 5777) to arrange a time.
