In the Discovery Centre we have been learning about ALGORITHMS, which means students get to program ROBOTS! Students in Foundation to Year 2, are getting hands-on with robotics, programming various robots to move and act according to their coded instructions. Year 1 and 2 students are also introducing loops to make their code more efficient and reduce repetitive steps. 

Year 3 to Year 6 are actively applying algorithmic thinking to design and create their own interactive games and apps. They are focusing on user experience by using Google Slides to incorporate hyperlinks, effective icons, and easy-to-use buttons to connect different parts of their creations and ensure they are user-friendly.
